What should I use to secure my wood to the bracket rods if I am not using set screws?

We recommend using a Kitchen and Bath Silicone or liquid nails construction adhesive. Just squeeze either onto the top of the bracket rods before you slide the shelf on or into the Bracket holes in the shelf. The silicone has a semi-permanent set, and in the event that you need to move the shelf, you can work the wood off of the bracket. Liquid nails is more permanent and rigid. Either are effective and readily available.
